The Individual and the Economy Grade 11 - CIE3M - UNIVERSITY/COLLEGE

This course explores elements of the Canadian economic system that will help students make informed decisions about how to use resources to satisfy wants and needs. Students will use economic concepts and models, as well as methods of economic inquiry, to analyze the choices they will make during their lives as consumers, contributors, and citizens in a mixed economy.

Pre-requisite: Grade 10 History at the Academic or Applied Level

 
 
Analyzing Current Economic Issues - Grade 12 - UNIVERSITY

This course explores the choices that individuals and societies make about the use of resources in a competitive global economy. Students will use economic concepts and models, as well as methods of economic inquiry, to analyse current economic issues and make informed economic choices based on their analysis.

Pre-requisite: Any university or university/college preparation course in Canadian and world studies, English, or social sciences and humanities
